About the Book
Kids in grades 4-6 will enjoy this fun, witty, tongue-in-cheek career guide that looks at the job market way, way, waaay back in the day. This book explores the working life of the ancient Egyptians, with job descriptions such as sandal-maker, stone cutter, embalmer to the Pharaoh, reed cutter, or robber. Add clever and colourful illustrations, include lots of really interesting facts, and what you have is a fun, informal, and made-to-entertain Silver Birch finalist!
