Tea and Tunes

Celebrate an early Valentine's Day with The Friends of the Orangeville Public Library on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Mill Street Library location. Elaine Downes, owner of Somewhere Else Tea Room, will speak about that most quintessential of English customs, traditional afternoon tea.

Enjoy your complimentary tea and scones, complete with jam and Devonshire cream, while you relax and listen to the live music of Paul Donat, a talented local musician who has performed at venues including Roy Thompson Hall, Harbourfront Centre, the Bell Lightbox, and on jazz festival stages across the country.

For fun, why not wear something red - or what about that lovely hat you have been saving for a special occasion?  Perhaps you will decide to join The Friends group and share in the amazing volunteer work they do on behalf of the Library.

This program is free of charge thanks to the generous support of The Friends of the Orangeville Public Library. .
