Your Turn to Judge
The courtroom drama brought so skillfully to life in Robert Rotenberg's bestselling novel, The Guilty Plea, (this year's title pick for One Book One County Dufferin [OBOC]) will have you on the edge of your seat because in this case - it's your turn to judge.
The Library welcomes retired Deputy Judge H. Clark Adams, QC, on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Mill Street location in the downstairs meeting room.
Having heard over 5,000 cases in his career, Mr. Adams will share highlights of some of his more memorable cases, many of which may be found in his self-published book, Your Turn to Judge. Following this presentation, Mr. Adams will take a page out of his own book, presenting the facts of a case to the audience, and asking “How do you rule?” See how your decision matches that made by Mr. Adams, and find out if you have what it takes to keep the scales of justice in balance.
Come out for a fun and interactive evening of courtroom drama. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Refreshments provided. This is a One Book One County Dufferin program. Click here for more information about One Book One County Dufferin.
