Administration Overview

Administration carries out the mission (as set forth in the Library's Mission Statement) of the Library by planning, organizing, directing, promoting, and controlling all Library functions, day-to-day operations, and activities, directly or through supervisory staff.

The Chief Librarian develops and manages the Library's budget and funds; purchases and acquires the services, supplies, furniture, equipment, and materials necessary for Library operations; assesses, plans and anticipates facility and equipment needs; coordinates the delivery of Library services; and carries out policies adopted by the Orangeville Public Library Board.
