Information Services
Information Services
Information Services (also known as Reference Services) are provided to help with your information and recreational needs. Whether you need help locating hard-to-find information, resource material for a homework assignment, a good movie to watch with the kids, or the latest book by your favourite author, we're here to help!
Information staff regularly review, select and organize information that is relevant to the community, and are available to help Library users find the information they need. Information and reference resources include, but are not limited to, books, magazines and newspapers, indexes, catalogues, the Internet, pamphlets and brochures, community and government agency resources, and electronic resources.
Interlibrary Loan service, Internet access, word processing, library tours, and meeting room rentals are also available at the Information Services Department.
Information services are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. In-person inquiries take priority over telephone inquiries, which take priority over e-mail inquiries.
