Within the maximum total items, the following maximum limits of specific material types, and loan periods apply:

Audiobooks on CD

• 10 items per card
• 28 day loan period

Book Club in a Bag

• 1 kit per registered book club contact (click here for more information)
• 42 day (6 week) loan period, no renewals

Books

• 50 items per card
• 28 day loan period
• High demand books are reduced to a 10 day loan period, with no renewals

CDs (music)

• 10 items per card
• 28 day loan period

Daisy Audiobooks (CNIB Patrons only)

• 10 items per card
• 28 day loan period

Daisy Player (CNIB Patrons only)

• 1 item per card
• 28 day loan period

DVDs * † (does not include DVD Sets)

• 5 items per card
• 7 day loan period

DVD Sets * † (sets count as 1 item)

• 5 items per card
• 28 day loan period

eReader (counts as 1 item)

• 1 item per card
• 28 day loan

Kits (CD and accompanying book count as 1 item)

• 10 items per card
• 28 day loan period

Magazines **

* DVD sets are each treated as 1 DVD item toward the maximum of 5 DVD sets per card.

** Certain items in this category are non-circulating.

Any of the above items types (except DVDs & reference material) with two or more holds may be subject to reduced loan periods.

† Age restricted DVDs will not be loaned to patrons who do not meet the age requirements specified according to the Canadian Rating System for Home Videos, the OFRB, and/or the MPAA ratings.
