Whether you choose to search using BiblioCommons or Horizon Information Portal, you are searching the entire Orangeville Public Library collection and catalogue (both locations). Library Account Number

Your library account number (sometimes referred to as a barcode number) appears below the barcode on the front of your library card. It is a unique 14 digit code number that identifies you in the Library's automated computer system.

There are a number of ways you may access your library account.

Online (library account number and a P.I.N. required) from any computer with Internet access
Using the Library's Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), also known as the Computer Catalogue
Visit either location and present your library card at the Information or Circulation desks
Telephone the Circulation desk at either library location during regular operating hours (library account number required)

Personal Indentification Number (P.I.N.)

A Personal Indentification Number (P.I.N.) is a unique four digit code that ensures only you can access your account information. It is a security measure in place to protect your privacy and information.

Setting up a P.I.N.

To set up a P.I.N., please contact or visit the Information or Circulation Desk at either library location. A P.I.N. may be set up by the cardholder or, if the cardholder is a child under 14 years of age, by the parent/guardian who has signing authority for the child's library account. Please have your library card handy as you will be asked for your 14-digit account number which appears below the barcode on the front of your library card.
